Covid-19 situation will improve

Datuk Dr Ir Mohd Abdul Karim shared on how Serba Dinamik is coping during Covid-19.

KUCHING: Serba Dinamik Holding Berhad is optimistic that by June the Covid-19 situation will improve in state and the country.

Its group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Dr Ir Mohd Abdul Karim said, he hoped by then the company’s projects that have been temporary put on hold due pandemic could be execute as soon as possible next month.

“Entering the month on June, there will be a lot to catch up that we need to do so that whatever planning that we have, can be carried out smoothly,” he said when sharing his views on webinar tiled ‘Pride of being a UTM Graduate’ hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s (UTM) Faculty of Engineering on Facebook yesterday.

He said indeed the Covid-19 has hit many areas but overall feels that the company will be able to managed it.

“This Covid-19 is slightly different; this is because due to MCO and in other parts of the world works cannot be carried out.

“I would say we have gone through the circle of regression and we have managed to get out of that regression,” he said.

On another note, Mohd Abdul Karim, who is also a former UTM student advised graduates not to be saddened by the Covid-19 outbreak that it will affect their future career.

“We did not expect this to happen, but trust that our lives will return to normal soon,” he said.
