KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, received a courtesy visit from Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapri at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today (Oct 2).
According to Azman, the purpose of the courtesy visit was to discuss security matters concerning the Jepak by-election on Saturday (Nov 4).
He stated that the Sarawak Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) remained committed to ensuring the safety and public peace of Sarawak.
He made these remarks when speaking to the media after the courtesy visit.
Earlier, Abang Johari also received a courtesy visit from the Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Utama Mohamad Hasan.
