MIRI: A search and Rescue (SAR) operation is underway for a 43-year-old local woman believed to have been attacked by a crocodile while fishing with her parents at Telong River in Batu Niah on Wednesday.
The parents who saw her disappearing into the waters around noon immediately called up Bomba for assistance.
“Four firemen were deployed to the scene for the SAR operation,” said a spokesperson of the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department.
