KUCHING: A meeting was held with the Resident of Sibu, Hii Chang Kee with the organisers of the upcoming MSNS-SSC Cycling Roadshow which will be held at the Wisma Sanyan in Sibu on Aug 19.
Organised by the Sarawak Sports Corporation(SSC) the meeting was held recently help to finalise on the organisation of the cycling Roadshow which will be held in several towns in Sarawak starting in Sibu.
Among the activities lined up for the event which start at 7.10am are a demonstration by Azmin Aramy Hilmy on his BMX bike
who will entertain the crowds at 10.30 am followed by a slide show on SUKMA and SUKSAR (Sarawak Games).
Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah will officiate at the official opening followed by a speech by Sibu Resident, Hii Chang Kee and also a slide presentation by Dato Benjamin Hasbie.
The Roadshow which will also be held in Miri in Aug 26 followed by other towns in Serian and Sri Aman at a later date to scout for talents in the sport at various parts of Sarawak and promote the SUKSAR (Sarawak Games) which will be held here in December.
