DALAT: Dalat is making efforts to embrace the digital economy and enhance digital literacy in the community.
During the “Mendigitalisasi Komuniti Akar Umbi” programme on Monday (July 17), Dalat District Officer Hamdan Katang called upon the younger generation to play an active role in educating the older generation about the benefits of the Internet in their daily lives.
According to Hamdan, the youth should focus on creating engaging content about Dalat, including its cuisine, cultural uniqueness, and tourism destinations.
By publicising these aspects to the public, they can attract visitors to come and experience the beauty of Dalat firsthand.
Hamdan further said that everyone has a responsibility to adapt to the digital advancements to secure a prosperous future.
He echoed the idea of Minister for Women, Childhood, and Community WellBeing Development Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, who recognised the potential of Dalat and Oya, both in terms of their residents and local products.
