KUCHING: Sarawak now has two Covid-19 green zones after the Daro district became green yesterday (June 20).

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the Daro district was now green after no new cases were reported in the district in the last 14 days.

It said the other green zone was the Limbang district.

“The Betong district is yellow after recording 12 locally transmitted cases in the past 14 days while the Marudi district is orange with 40 cases of local infection detected in the past 14 days,” it said in a statement yesterday.

The SDMC added that the Simunjan district was now red after recording 44 cases of local infections in the past 14 days.

The red zone code is given to areas with more than 40 cases, orange to areas with 21 to 40 cases, yellow to areas with one to 20 cases and green to areas with no cases recorded in 14 days.
