KUCHING: The Dayak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) organised a two-day digital marketing sales workshop recently to provide exposure to entrepreneurs involved in tourism-related activities.

The 30 participants from here and Samarahan were those involved in homestay business, bed and breakfast, holiday rentals, handicrafts, traditional cakes, tuak and many others.

The workshop, funded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, also touched on using modern approaches and practices in business.

Edwin Engbat of Gara International and a certified trainer conducted the workshop, while the workshop was officially closed by DCCI deputy president Kilat Beriak.

Also present were DCCI executive secretary Terence Temenggong Jayang and other members.

For the upcoming workshop, DCCI said it would be held in Bintulu and would be the fourth.

At the same time, DCCI with collaboration from the ministry is also involved in organising homestay management courses and fertigation workshops.
