DCM holds bilateral meeting with Brunei

KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan held a bilateral online meeting with key officials from Brunei Darussalam government at his office at Wisma Sumber Alam on Saturday.

Among the topics discussed in the two-hour meeting were the exit and entry charges imposed to visitors entering Brunei.

Also discussed at the meeting were issues involving the Covid-19 outbreak, immigration, and trade.

Representing the Brunei government were Foreign Affairs Minister II Datuk Seri Setia Awang Erywan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Mohd Yusof and its Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department and Minister of Finance and Economics II, Datuk Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah.

Also attending the meeting were federal Transport Deputy Minister Hasbi Habibollah, Agriculture assistant minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang and other senior government officials.
