MIRI: A cobra measuring about three feet has been caught by Malaysian Civil Defence Force (Apam) personnel here.

According to Miri Apam officer Capt (PA) Mohd Hazle Shah Abd Hamid, a team rushed to a house near Eastwood Valley around 6.50am and were greeted by the 29-year-old complainant, who is staying with her husband and brother-in-law.

“The complainant first realised the reptile’s presence when her husband headed to the shower and noticed a black snake slithering along the zinc roof.

“The team found the cobra and managed to capture it using special equipment,” he said in a statement yesterday.
