BINTULU: Delayed development projects here are set to resume soon, Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said.

Addressing the project status, he said he is committed to ensuring the prompt resumption of these delayed projects.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. However, there is no need to worry, we are fully committed and will restart the projects in phases,” he said in a Facebook post.

Earlier, Tiong attended the Christmas and New Year 2024 dinner organised by Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Bintulu branch and Jepak Village Chiefs Association.

He said he is glad to be able to meet with the residents of the longhouse during the event.

“I admit that since I took over the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MoTAC), I rarely visit the longhouse communities.

“I sincerely apologise. However, given that my ministry’s operations are running smoothly and  more organised, I will seize the opportunity and use the time to visit the longhouse community,” he said.
