KUCHING: The state Welfare Department Kuching Division (PKMB) is in the midst of tracing the biological mother or next of kin of a baby girl abandoned at the Kuching Specialist Hospital here.
A statement issued by the state Information Department (Penerangan) said based on information received from PKMB, the baby was abandoned at the hospital last Thursday (July 18). No documents were found on the baby.
Members of the public who have any information are to urgently get in touch with PKMB welfare officer Norhayati Abdul Rahman or PKMB children’s protector Asdayanti Sakawi at 082-507999 or 082-507111.
