Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Liwan Lagang, together with Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau and Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, recently visited the Orang Ulu cultural booth during the Unity Week celebration at Waterfront Kuching.

According to a press release, the purpose of the visit was to show support for the community’s participation in the celebration, which showcased the vibrant Orang Ulu culture. Traditional cultural dances and music were performed by the participants.

It is worth noting that Liwan serves as an advisor to the Kayan Association Sarawak, Dennis is the President of the Sarawak Kayan Association and Deputy President of the Federation of Orang Ulu Association Sarawak Malaysia (FORUM), and Kennedy holds the positions of President of the Sarawak Kenyah Association Sarawak Malaysia and President of FORUM.
