KUCHING: Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii distributed some funds to help a B40 dialysis patient in his constituency.
“Together with Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong, we were on the ground to distribute funds to help constituents in need.
“We understand the hardship each of the family has to go through. We hope such funds can help alleviate some of their medical and daily expenses,” he said today (June 7).
On a separate occasion, Dr Yii congratulated Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 Alumni Association for the successful organisation of the 2022 Kuching Badminton Competition.
“Congratulations to the winners and all who made this event a success.
“My office will continue to support sport events in Kuching, to give our young people an alternative and good platform as we promote a healthy lifestyle in our community.”
Dr Yii officiated at the opening ceremony of the competition last Saturday (June 4).
