KUCHING: Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) will be organising a live webinar on ‘Covid-19 Vaccination and The Impact on Sarawak Business’ at 10am next Wednesday (Feb 24).

It will be held via Zoom and is also accessible for viewing on the SBF’s official Facebook page at facebook.com/sarawakbusinessfederation/.

The panel speakers for the webinar are Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also the advisor of the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC); Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Chamber chairman and Economic Action Council member Datuk Abang Helmi Ikhwan; Sarawak Economic Planning Unit director Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel; Borneo Medical Centre board of directors chairman Dr John Chew and Sarawak Tourism Federation president Audrey Wan Ullok.

The webinar will be moderated by SBF deputy president Datuk Philip Ting.

“With the imminent rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine scheduled for the end of this month, it is an opportune time for all Sarawakians to be cognizant with the issues surrounding the whole vaccination process, to prepare ourselves for the reopening of the state.

“We are lucky to have a very distinguished panel of speakers from the government, business, medical profession and tourism. I am sure they have much to share with all,” he said in a statement today (Feb 18).
