KOTA SAMARAHAN: A veteran of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) who is paralysed, received donations in the form of basic necessities and equipment from MAF on Thursday.

According to a statement issued, Eastern Field Commander Lieutenant General Datuk Wira Zamrose Mohd Zain paid a welfare visit to the Sarawakian veteran’s residence at No. 147, Kampung Kuap, Datuk Mohd Musa.

The basic necessities were given to ease the patient’s burden during the enforced conditional movement control order (CMCO) period.

Among the basic necessities donated were disposable diapers, powdered milk and appliances such as bed, mattress, and wheelchair provided by the Sarawak Department of Veterans Affairs (JHEV).

Also accompanying Zamrose during the visit was JHEV MAF Sarawak director Major Pahot Joll.
