KUCHING: Teachers who still refuse to get vaccinated by Nov 1 have no cause to argue the disciplinary action taken against them, opines Adam Prakash.
“I think as government servants, everybody, and they include teachers, should abide by any directives from the Public Service Commission,” said the Sarawak Teachers Union president.
“These teachers have been given ample time (to get vaccinated). They should not argue (about the disciplinary action) unless they have legitimate medical reasons.”
Prakash was commenting on a statement by federal Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin, who said teachers who refused the Covid 19 vaccination would face disciplinary action, including immediate transfer.
“So this is our stand on the matter,” Prakash added.
