KUCHING: Assistant Transport Minister, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil will officiate at  a community engagement programme, “Program Sepakat@Komuniti Pembudayaan Norma Baharu: Putuskan Rantaian Covid-19” (S@K PNB: PRC) in Siburan on November 8.

The programme, organised by the Information Department of Malaysia, is one of the initiatives under the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM).

Kuching district information officer, Magdellina Alfred Jeho, in a press statement, said the programme was a community engagement programme that would allow for dissemination of information.

“This will allow us to disseminate information about the government’s principles, initiatives and achievements.

“This will transform the innovation and creativity through new media which include providing a one stop centre for visitors,” he said.

Magdellina added the talks would be conducted by Kuching Health Department and the National Security Council. 

“Through it, important information given can be useful to the general public in the effort to break the spread of Covid-19,” he said in the statement.
