KUCHING: The Sri Aman Information Department (JaPen) today (July 17) donated drinks to the frontliners at Dewan Johnical Rayong Ngipa Vaccination Centre and the Simpang Engkilili roadblock.

The event was attended by Sri Aman District Information Officer Suhaili Awang and several other JaPen members.

The initiative, according to Suhaili, was to recognise the frontliners’ sacrifices in containing the spread of the Covid-19 as well as to demonstrate the department’s support and concern for them.

Chief coordinator of the vaccination centre, Dr Mohd Ruzaiman thanked JaPen for the drinks.

“The Sinovac vaccine has been given to almost 95 percent of the residents in the Skrang region, Skrang Ulu Scheme, and Skrang Ili Scheme through the national immunisation programme which started in June,” he revealed

Meanwhile, chief officer of the Simpang Engkilili roadblock also thanked JaPen for donating the drinks.
