SIBU: A 60-year-old man broke his right arm after the Proton Wira car he was driving collided with a Perodua Myvi car at Stapang along the Bintulu-Sibu Road, yesterday.
Sungai Merah Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) received a distress call at 8.03am yesterday and seven firefighters led by PBK II Joseph Dea rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the firefighters immediately tried to extricate the driver who was trapped in his seat.
The driver of the other car however escaped unhurt.
The injured driver was later taken to Sibu Hospital for treatment.
