KUCHING: A driver managed to escape unharmed after his luxury car was engulfed in flames in front of beverage outlet in Tabuan Jaya here, last night (Feb 28).
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Tabuan Jaya were rushed to the scene after they receiving a distress call around 11.30pm.
On arrival, they found that the car destroyed and the fire was at its height. The firefighters took several minutes to put out the fire.
The 49-year-old driver earlier managed to escape to safety.
It is not immediately known what caused the fire.
