KUCHING: Two vehicles were involved in an accident at Taman Demak Indah, Petra Jaya, Kuching, today.
The accident between a car and a pick-up truck happened around 6.20am.
The collision caused the pick-up truck driver to be trapped in his seat. When firefighters arrived at the scene they had to use special equipment to extricate him.
The injured driver was later taken to Sarawak General Hospital for treatment. The car driver was unhurt.
The nine firefighters involved in the operation were led by Senior Fire Officer II Kamri Bujang.
