BINTULU: A driver was injured after his car is believed to have skidded and overturned at Jalan Bintulu-Sibu, Kemena Industrial Estate early this morning.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Bintulu station were despatched to the scene after being alerted to the accident around 4 am.
On arrival, the team confirmed that a man was trapped inside a Perodua Myvi which had overturned in the middle of the road.
Extrication works were promptly carried out to free the trapped and injured victim. The extent of his injuries is not known.
Once freed, the 30-year-old victim was handed over to the paramedics for further treatment.
