DARO: The body of a seven-year-old boy who drowned in a river near Kampung Sungai Passin here last Wednesday was recovered today.
According to Bomba Operations Centre, the body was found by fishermen about four kilometres from where he went missing.
The victim, identified as Gabriel Lembang Anchau, was swimming using a buoy in a river at Kampung Sungai Passin when he was reported missing.
According to sources, the buoy had leaked and it caused the boy to fall into the river and drown.
