The fourth day of the third session of the first term of the 19th State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting yesterday ran smoothly with a continuous debate by 17 state assemblymen.
The sitting started at 9.08am with elected representatives from across the state converging at the DUN complex.
It then began with a prayer in the DUN chambers and the DUN speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar granted leave of absence to Lambir assemblyman Dr Ripin Lamat for today’s sitting while Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang from Wednesday to Friday (Nov 25).
The sitting proceeded with an hour of question-and-answer session followed by the debate on the second reading of the Supply Bill (2023) 2022 and a motion to refer to the Resolution of the Development Expenditure Budget for 2023.
The DUN sitting adjourned at 4.39pm.
It will resume today (Friday Nov 24) – the fifth day of the sitting.
