DUN Speaker hands out donations

BINTULU: Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar handed over donations to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Sebiew, Surau Darul Taqwa of Kampung Sebiew and the Standing Committee for Islamic Activities of Bintulu Division (JTAIB).

JKKK Kampung Sebiew represented by village chief, Saiful Bahri Bujang received a donation of RM5,000, Surau Darul Taqwa Kampung Sebiew received a donation of RM20,000 while JTAIB received RM10,000.

Donations were also presented to the management committee of Masjid Darul Makmur Kampung Jepak, Surau Darul Dakwah Kampung Jepak Hulu and Surau Darul Iman Kampung Sebuan Kecil.

Asfia urged the community, especially in Jepak, to support the local government agency, the Bintulu Development Board (BDA) to ensure that the development plans run smoothly.
