BINTULU: Two local men were injured after a vehicle they were in crashed into the side of a road here on Sunday afternoon.
According to State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the incident occurred around 3.10 pm at Mile 9, Jalan Bintulu-Miri.
It was reported that the duo from Miri was on their way to Bintulu when the driver lost control of their vehicle, causing it to overturn several times before crashing at the side of the road.
Both driver and passenger were sent to Bintulu Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was severely damaged and the accident is being investigated under Rule 10, LN166/59.
