KUCHING: A durian feast was held at the front foyer of the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) here yesterday.
The programme “Lan..Makan Buah-Buah Tempatan” was organised by the Department of Agriculture Sarawak.
About 500 durians including Musang King and Johor Mas as well as other fruits such as oranges and jackfruits were offered at the feast.
Right after the break of the morning session of the DUN sitting, Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Openg and other Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) ministers and deputy ministers went to have a taste of the durians.
Joining in the feast were the Sarawak Pakatan Harapan (PH) representatives. Media practitioners on duty were also invited to join the feast.
