SIBU: Computer Sales and Services Association (CSSA) Sarawak, Sibu branch will be holding a e-waste recycling campaign 2017 in conjunction with Sarawak ICT Expo 2017, which is to be held from 28 to 30 April at Giant Hypermarket Shopping Mall, Sibu.
CSSA Sarawak Sibu branch vice-chairman, Wong Ing Ang said chairman of Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) and Dudong Assemblyman, Datuk Tiong Thai King will officiate the E-Waste Recycling campaign 2017 on 29 April at 11.00am.
“The public who has unwanted or spoilt computers, computer peripherals, printers and other accessories are advised to bring them to Giant Hypermarket Car Park (back portion) for proper disposal during the expo period,” he told reporters at a press conference held at CSSA Sarawak, Sibu branch, Hua Kiew Road here yesterday.
Meanwhile, he said that E-Waste Recycling campaign is carried out by CSSA Sarawak Sibu branch in conjunction with SMC to create a cleaner and healthier environment for the people of Sibu to live in.
CSSA Sarawak Sibu branch chairman Wong Chi Tieng, secretary Mary Lau, treasurer Jackson Ngui, organizing chairman Siek Hieng Hoe and Eason Wong were among those present.
