New Sarawak Tribune recently interviewed some of the employees at Green Gallery regarding the Christmas decorations.

Carmen Chai, a staff member at Green Gallery, explained that their Christmas trees and decorations had been available since October.

“The most popular decorations that have been sold so far are the candy-style ornaments, along with the gingerbread house. This includes the candy cane theme and a lot of berries. The red and white-themed decorations have been particularly popular among our customers,” she said.

Regarding the Christmas trees, Carmen mentioned that the white snow-ish trees and the mixed berry trees were among the bestsellers.

“The trees are the most popular items because they truly capture the essence of Christmas. The snow and berries represent the holiday spirit beautifully,” she sid.

Carmen also explained that other decorations and items, such as candle holders and flowers, were also in high demand among customers.

“The euphorbia, which is a large genus of plants available in various shapes and sizes, have been selling well during this Christmas season. Additionally, our beautiful Christmas lights have been very popular.

“Customers are particularly fond of the colourful lights and the simplicity and beauty of the white lights. Although I don’t have the exact numbers, we have sold a considerable amount of decorations, trees, and Christmas lights since making them available in October,” she said.

On a different note, Carmen expressed her hope for this year’s Christmas to be more joyful than previous years.

“I simply hope for a merry and joyful Christmas for everyone, and I urge people to continue staying safe wherever they are,” she said.
