Earth Hour Photography Competition for Sarawakians

KUCHING: Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) will be holding an Earth Hour Photography Competition themed ‘Climate Change to Save Earth’.

DBKU stated in its statement that the competition would be from March 27 until March 31.

It will be based on the participants’ creativity to convey the awareness to the community about the importance of energy saving and also its impact on the environment.

The grand prize winner will receive a tablet while the second prize winner will receive a 256GB smartphone.

The third prize winner will get a 64GB smartphone while the consolation prize winner will receive a smartwatch.

The photography competition is open to all Sarawakians aged 13 and above for free.

“To register, participants will have to submit their entries through dbku.events and to like DBKU’s Facebook page.

“Participants are also required to share and like the posting ads of the photography competition and tag five friends on their Facebook which the administration will check as a mandatory condition of each entry,” DBKU added.

According to DBKU, participants must upload a photo on the contestant’s Facebook Wall and must include the hashtags #EHDBKU21 and #togetherwecare to be eligible for the contest.

“Each participant is only eligible to submit one photo that will be competed using a DSLR camera or smartphone/tablet camera only and the closing date for the entries is on April 1,” said DBKU.
