KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Multimedia Deputy Minister Eddin Syazlee Shith who suffered breathing difficulties this morning while attending the Dewan Rakyat sitting, is now in a stable condition.
According to his Special Task Officer Farahiah Zubir, the Kuala Pilah Member of Parliament (MP) who was rushed from Parliament by ambulance arrived at the National Heart Institute (IJN) at 11.20 am.
He is currently being warded at Cardiac Care Unit for further examinations, she said when met at the IJN.
This morning, the Dewan Rakyat proceedings were halted for almost 10 minutes after Eddin Syazlee was found having trouble breathing.
He was reported to have just arrived at the Dewan Rakyat and was about to sit down when he appeared to be lethargic and slumped on to his chair.
The Kuala Pilah MP was given an emergency treatment at the Parliament clinic before being rushed to IJN.
Meanwhile, a statement from Communications and Multimedia Deputy Minister Office confirmed that Eddin Syazlee was in a stable condition and asked Malaysians to pray for his speedy recovery. – Bernama
