KUCHING: The Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA) will present educational incentives to children of members who excelled in their academic and co-curricular activities last year.

“This is the fifth time that we are giving educational incentives to the children, from kindergarten up to tertiary levels, or to members who excelled in their public examinations,” said NSJA president Andy Jong Wan Joon.

Assistant Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Sebastian Ting handed over the funding to NSJA on Thursday (April 8), continuing to support the NSJA members’ children education incentives.

Jong called upon members whose children met the criteria for the incentives to submit their examination results to NSJA vice-president Rosemaria Buma (016-8718793) or secretary Michelle Choo (016-8919280) by May 7.
