25 Years of Service in DBKU at its Majlis Ramah Tamah Gawai Raya held at DBKU Headquarters in Kuching.
KUCHING: The Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) here achieved another success after receiving the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) certification, this year. DBKU Mayor Datuk Abdul Wahap Abang Julai said the certification achieved by DBKU was qualified by the Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning (MAMPU) Sarawak.
“In the joyous spirit of celebrating Gawai Dayak and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, I am to happy to announce a good news to everyone that we are qualified to get a certification of EKSA by MAMPU Sarawak,” Wahap said during the DBKU monthly assembly and Majlis Ramah Tamah Gawai Raya DBKU 2018, at DBKU headquarters, yesterday. According to him, the EKSA audit session in all the zones of EKSA DBKU was held from 15 to 23 of May earlier this year and the session was joined by for auditors from MAMPU Sarawak.
“Based on the result of the audit, DBKU has scored more than 80 per cent therefore it has qualified DBKU to receive a certification. During the event,Wahap congratulated and extended his deepest gratitude to DBKU Director Jumaini Haili and five other staff members who are retiring from DBKU and to the 10 staff members who also received the Award for 25 Years of Service in DBKU.
Apart from the monthly assembly that was held in the DBKU Auditorium, the Majlis Ramah- Tamah Gawai Raya DBKU 2018 took place immediately after the monthly assembly at the DBKU lobby.
A total of five dining outlets were open to serve the guests and the staff of DBKU in which they were entertained by Gawai Raya theme performances, lucky draws and the crowning of Gawai Raya King and Queen.
