KUCHING: An elderly couple recently received a quadcane crutch walking stick each to facilitate their daily movement.
The contribution was handed over by Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman who paid a visit to 86-year-old Gani Eddie and his wife 82-year-old Ayang Salleh at their home in Kampung Gita Laut.
Previously, the elderly couple depended on wooden stick to move about.
The elderly senior citizens are currently living with one of their children who is a person with disability (OKU) and the family is a welfare recipient from the Department of Social Welfare (JKM).
