KUCHING: An elderly dialysis patient received medical aid and cash assistance from Bandar Kuching incumbent Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen who visited the woman on Wednesday (Oct 19).
Dr Yii stated that the elderly woman suffers from kidney failure and needs at least three sessions of dialysis in a week.
At the same time, she also suffers from heart issues and was recently hospitalised.
“She was alone at home when she experienced chest pains. Fortunately, her children all lived nearby, so she was able to be brought to the hospital promptly.
“She has recovered and been discharged from the hospital to recuperate at home,” Dr Yii said in a social media post.
“We paid the elderly woman a visit and listened to her concerns. We also handed over some aid for dialysis and medical costs.”
Dr Yii said on top of the aid given to the elderly woman, his team also took the opportunity to wish her good health and pray that she recovers soon.
