KUCHING: An elderly man is in shock after his car rammed into a petrol kiosk here yesterday afternoon. Eyewitnesses said that the man was driving from Desa Wira to a nearby petrol station when he lost control of his car.
The victim, in his 70s, was shocked and received help from passersby. Fortunately, there was no fire. Due to the impact, one of the front tyres burst and the car’s bonnet was badly damaged. Passersby then contacted the man’s family members using his mobile phone. The man has been told to quit driving as he suffered from poor eyesight.
