KUCHING: An elderly man passed out inside a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle when it collided with metal gate behind a shop lot here.
According to the State Bomba Operation Centre, it received an emergency call about a self-accident early this morning at 2.27 am
“The accident involved a 4WD vehicle at Lorong Liu Shan Bang, Kota Sentosa at Mile 7.
“Firefighters from Batu Lintang station got the victim out of the vehicle,” it said
The victim, Bong Ngim Swee, 60, unfortunately passed away and was confirmed dead by medical personnel at the scene.
The remains of the victim were handed over to the police for further action.
