Elvises to rock Kuching Waterfront this Saturday

ETAs last show at the Kuching Waterfront on 25 Feb this year.

KUCHING: Fans of the late King of Rock N Roll Elvis Aaron Presley will get to see glimpses of their idol here in the city soon.

This comes with the live performances of his six ardent fans and top local tribute artistes (ETAs) who will be belting the King’s top hits of the 50s, 60s and 70s this Saturday 26 Aug at Kuching Waterfront Amphitheatre starting from 8.30pm.

Elvis Presley Fan Club of Sarawak (EPFCS) chairman and Elvis of Kuching titleholder who was a finalist of the Gold Coast, Australia Viva Surfers Paradise Contest 2015 Ges ak Barundang @ Elges Presley will lead the charge. He will be joined by Azmi Jahidin, Adrian David Junior, Elvis Presley of Sarawak titleholder Eskandar Eyaw and Elvis of Borneo TS Valentine @ Elval as well as Martin Ong who is also a top Sir Cliff Richard impressionist. Also in performances will be Major (rtd) Abong Umping on keyboard together with Charles on lead guitar to accompany the Elvis tribute artistes. Another Elvis impressionist Elkriste is yet to confirm participation. Hope to see him and EP fans on Saturday night and enjoy the tunes of the King’s top hits such as ‘That’s Allright Mama’, ‘King of The Whole Wide World’, ‘It’s Now Or Never’, Don’t Be Cruel’, ‘No More’, ‘The Wonder of You’, ‘Love Machine’, It’s A Matter of Time’, ‘One Night’, ‘Johnny B. Goode’, ‘Little Sister’, ‘Baby I Don’t Care’, ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ and many more. With a combined age of nearly 400 years these six ETAs will present a splendid repertoire of rocking and rolling. Come one, come all!
