EMCO at three more localities in Sarawak

KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today announced that the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) would be enforced at three localities in the state.

It said the EMCO would be enforced at Rh Was Jenteng, Sungai Entajum, Tatau from June 30 to July 13; Rh Nyandang, Sungai Rayah, Jalan KJD, Bintangor, Meradong from July 1 to 17 and Kampung Mongkos, Serian from July 2 to 15.

The committee, in a statement today (Thursday) also announced the end of the EMCO at 13 other localities.

The EMCO at Rh Kilon, Sebu Ulu, Tanjung Bijat, Sri Aman; Workers’ Quarters at Chicwan 5th Mile, Bintulu; Quarters 15 Ladang Sebubu, Samalaju, Bintulu; and Plantation Workers’ Quarters at Almabumi Plantation Sdn Bhd, Ladang Bukit, Ulu Sebauh, Bintulu ended on June 30.

The EMCO at Rh Buli Amit, Sungai Semanok, Tatau; Rh Salang Unsa, Sg Separai, Tatau and Rh Slyvester Bunsu Ganyun, Ng Selilai Kakus, Tatau also ended that day.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at Rh Dana, Nanga Tebalau, Betong and Rh Kubu, Nanga Tada, Kanowit ended today.   

The  SDMC  said the EMCO at Rh Grace Itun, Sungai Salim, Sibu; Rh Pinggan, Sungai Salim, Sibu; Rh Empauk Manggi, Pulau Dudong, Sibu; and Rh Kubu, Nanga Tada, Kanowit would come end tomorrow.
