Engkilili folk get food aid packages

KUCHING: Nine hundred and thirty-four food aid packages were delivered to the residents at Engkilili constituency yesterday. Community Wellbeing Assistant Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and Sri Aman Deputy Resident, Elvis Didit were present at the distribution ceremony held at the Salcra Hall distribution centre and Salcra Sedarat office.

Engkilili constituency has 4,066 registered heads of households under the Village Development and Safety Committees (JKKK). A total of 816 heads of households from 42 longhouses  received the food aid — which made overall percentage of 77.92 per cent food aid had been distributed.

Also present at the symbolic hand over of the food aid were  Sri Aman Community Welfare officer Vivian Engkiong; representative of Lubok Antu district officer, Sarawak Administrative Officer, Brin Musang, and members of Lubok Antu District Council.
