MUKAH: Food supply here is enough, assured Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry Mukah chief Salihin Den, following the extension of the movement control order (MCO) to April 14.
Salihin said the ministry had always monitored the supply of essentials at supermarkets and retail outlets.
“The ministry has also been assured by suppliers and wholesalers that supply is always available when and if needed,” he said via WhatsApp Friday.
He was asked the question after Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced on Wednesday that the MCO would be extended for another two weeks.
