
KUCHING: While respecting and honouring the Gawai celebration, we still need to strictly adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs), said Kota Samarahan Municipal Council chairman Datuk Peter Minos.
“I wish all my Dayak friends everywhere a Gawai filled with happiness and joy even though we must comply with the SOPs and advices from the Ministry of Health as well as the State Disaster Management Committee.
“We must always be mindful of the current Covid-19 situation,” he said, adding that as citizens, we need to help in fighting against the virus for the sake of our nation, state and loved ones.
