PUSA: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Beting Maro branch members, including the Youth and Women’s sections must work together to develop the constituency.
Beting Maro assemblyman Razali Gapor said the youth and women members played important roles in contributing ideas to develop Sarawak and to ensure PBB continued to govern the state.
Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) had proven itself in governing Sarawak by bringing about many changes in Beting Maro such as the construction of bridges and various mega projects in the area, he said.
“The youths and women also need to place emphasis on education and improve their skills to achieve progress and improve the economy.
“Youth, women and residents in this area should take the opportunity to develop the ranks of youth and women in Beting Maro,” he said during the branch representative meeting at Dewan Masyarakat Utama Beladin and Dewan Al Amin Beladin on Wednesday (March 9).
Razaili hoped that the leadership of the branch committee would be able to support the trust placed on them so that Sarawak politics would be stable, and the planned development would be implemented smoothly.
“Each of us has an important role in PBB because the party is the backbone of the GPS government,” he said.
He said Beting Maro was rich in natural resources such as agriculture and fisheries which were the economic core for the residents in the constituency.
