KUCHING: Entertainment centres such as nightclubs, pubs, karaoke centres as well as reflexology centres are still not allowed to operate in the state despite the end of the conditional movement control order (CMCO) here.

State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said this is one of the standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines of the recovery movement control order (RMCO) to be enforced throughout Sarawak beginning tomorrow.

“The closure of these premises is effective until further notice,” it said in a statement today.

It added that all other business sectors are allowed to operate within subject to the RMCO’s SOPs.

“Operation hours for all activities are fixed from 6.00am to 12.00pm

“SDMC would like to remind all premise owners who are allowed to operate that it is their responsibility to ensure that all SOPs issued by the health ministry, National Security Council and the Ministry of Local Government and Housing Sarawak during the RMCO period are fully complied with,” it added.
