Essential supplies stable ahead of Christmas

MUKAH: As Christmas approaches, consumers here can breathe easy with no shortages of essential supplies reported.

Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Mukah branch head Salihin Den, confirmed the adequacy of necessities in the area.

“We have ample supplies, and prices are reasonable,” he said, noting that no complaints about shortages have been received.

Salihin emphasised the ongoing efforts of KPDN Enforcement Officers to ensure a stable and sufficient supply chain, particularly for the festive season.

“Our focus is on maintaining stable supply and accessibility for the consumers,” he added.

The Ministry also has planned a Maximum Price Scheme for the 2023 Christmas Season which will be officially launched on Dec 21 by its Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.
