KUCHING: An explosion here caused a 45-year-old man to suffer injuries to his hand and leg.
The incident occurred at 11.30am yesterday at premises at Jalan Tun Razak.
A team of eight firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya station and 10 of their colleagues from the Padungan station rushed to the scene.
They later confirmed that the explosion was due to a leaking oxygen tank.
The injured man was given medical treatment before being transported to the hospital.
The explosion did not cause any damage to the structure of the premises.
