MUKAH: The Mukah Polytechnic Department of Mathematics and Computer Science have donated 550 face shields to SK Mukah and SK Agama Mukah here.
Present were SK Mukah’s principal Burhanuddin Kaderi and SK Agama Mukah’s principal Mukah Nazri Mohtar.
The distribution of the masks is part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme of the polytechnic for selected schools.
The face shieds were also distributed to a few kindergartens, namely PASTI Al-Wafi Mukah branch, MRC Tadika, Taska S29 and Mukah Polytechnic Kemas Permata Kindergarten
Mukah Polytechnic director Dullah Muluk said the CSR programme was also to raise awareness on self-protection especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Besides that, the programme aimed to foster closer relationships between the Mukah Polytechnic Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and the community.
