KUCHING: Senior Minister of Works Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday night and he is now undergoing quarantine at home.
This was informed by the Ministry of Works in a statement today.
It said that Fadillah had taken the Covid-19 test at 10.15am on June 10 as a routine made by the Senior Minister of Works’ office.
Before this, the minister had gone for the Covid-19 tests from time to time and the results were negative including the latest one on last June 3.
It said that Fadillah is currently in stable condition and he apologised for any inconvenience caused. He also prayed that Allah SWT would ease all matters involved.
As advised by the Ministry of Health (MoH), Fadillah will be placed under home quarantine as he does not show any symptoms of Covid-19.
It added during his quarantine period, the minister would continue to monitor and ensure all matters of the ministry run smoothly.
