KUCHING: Petra Jaya incumbent MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has the opportunity to meet the people when he met and greeted the Malaysian Family (Keluarga Malaysia) Community at the Zainab Family Food Court, Metrocity here.

The programme also gave Fadillah the chance to appraise the surrounding areas and situation on the ground.

“We are grateful that the feedback from traders has been very positive, especially regarding the situation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Many expressed their gratitude because the Sarawak government helped a lot when the people were badly affected by the epidemic.

“Therefore, a survey like this is important so that we can feel the pulse of the people for ourselves, thus getting feedback to formulate plans in terms of policies and implementation strategies for the future,” he said.

In the meantime, three state constituencies – Tupong, Samariang and Satok under Petra Jaya also participated in the programme which was held starting around 8am, yesterday (Oct 30).
