SIBU: Sibu Hospital is currently seeking next-of-kin or family members of a Chinese male patient, Kong Chung Loh, aged 72, residing at No. 42-B, first floor, Jalan Hua Kiew, 96000 here.
The patient was found abandoned at his residence for several days and was brought to Sibu Hospital by ambulance after receiving a call from a member of the public.
“The patient is believed to be living alone and unable to provide clear and precise personal information due to his health condition,” the hospital said through a statement today.
The hospital informs that no relatives or family members have visited him since his admission to Ward 41 Neurosurgery (Level 1) of Sibu Hospital on December 5 until now.
“The hospital’s efforts to contact the patient’s family for further discussion have been unsuccessful,
“Therefore, members of the public who know the patient or have any information about his relatives or family members are requested to contact Ward 41 Neurosurgery (Level 1) of Sibu Hospital at (082-238888 extension 613) immediately,” it said.
